Tasting Notes
Grandma Marilyn’s blackberry crumble reemerges from a long lost recipe book dripping with ooey gooey goodness and makes a strong showing. We also don’t remember seeing any 80% cacao chocolate in the vineyard but it definitely found its way into the glass! Lavender and spice and everything nice carries the theme with copious amounts of black stonefruit, elderberry and leather. Slightly pronounced tannins and acidity give this wine great ageability. Feel free to
decant an hour before imbibing or allow it to nap for a couple more years.
