Tasting Notes
The extra time in bottle for this release has paid dividends, big time! The naturally present sharp tannins and acidity are laying down just enough to allow the fruit to shine through. A pleasant spectrum of red and black fruit shine with black cherry, plum and black raspberry with subtle savory fruit notes of dried tomato and capers. Tarragon and thyme help finish this wonderfully chewy orb of garnet goodness. Its Spanish heritage unapologetically howls for something smoky and carnivorous.
